The Illinois Great Rivers Conference is a body within the larger United Methodist Church which includes all United Methodist congregations in Illinois from Cairo in the south, to Kankakee and the Quad-Citites in the north.

Mental Health Ministries is an interfaith web based ministry to provide educational resources to help erase the stigma of mental illness in our faith communities. Our mission is to help faith communities be caring congregations for people living with a mental illness and those who love and care for them based on the “Caring Congregations” five step model of education, commitment, welcome, support and advocacy.
UMCOR stands for the United Methodist Committee on Relief and is our disaster-relief arm. It is a ministry which is global in scope and respected throughout the world. UMCOR is among the first I, and last out at scenes of disaster throughout the USA and across the world.

The Illinois Great Rivers Conference is made up of ten districts. We are in the LaMoine River District.

The Mission Societys ministries include agricultural training, evangelism, church planting, discipleship, teaching, leadership development, literacy, medical work, arts ministries, Teaching English as a Second Language, childrens ministry, campus ministry, well-drilling, youth ministry, relief and aid, and many others.
