Senior Pastor

Carol Stufflebeam

The Bible is filled with stories of God’s hand at work in the world.  As a young adult I came to know the truth of those words through the saving grace of Jesus Christ. I have experienced God’s power in so many ways throughout my life and have witnessed it in the lives of countless others. God desires to bless you in the midst of all you experience in life. My prayer is that you too may know the joy and peace that comes from knowing God as you journey through life.

I invite you to join us in the worship and ministry here at Union United Methodist Church. It is a place where you can grow in your faith journey, a place where you will be blessed, and a place where you will be empowered to be a blessing to others. I pray you will share in this journey with us.

My three children and I began attending UUMC in the fall of 2012.  By the end of that year I had started helping with our youth group.  UUMC and the youth group quickly became a very important part to my life.

I came to Union full of fear and struggling with my own worthiness.  I was welcomed and accepted by this church and began to truly grasp God's love for each and every one of us.  Accepting this love has guided me on a journey that has given my life purpose and fills me with gratitude.

Early in 2016 I became Co-Director of our Agape Youth Program.  On July 1, 2016, I was named to the position of directing youth and young adult ministries.  I am blessed to be a part of this family; living together in God's grace.

A new journey has begun as Administrative Assistant duties have been added to my current ministry in Congregational Care as of July 2016.  I look forward to serving God through this new adventure and ministry.  I will continue to make visits, send cards, make phone calls, and fulfill the role of Congregational Care Director.  Thank you Care Team Volunteers for your dedication to share Christ's love with our homebound members and nursing home residents.

Peace in Christ....
